Music for Tenor Bass Choirs If you take your choirs to UIL or another contest/festival event in the spring, you might be looking for music to build on your successes and take you through to the end of the term. I've been working on several classic pop titles that might suit your middle and high school Tenor Bass choirs. These titles are available digitally on Sheet Music Direct  and Sheet Music Plus  and I think you'll find they are easy to learn and easy to sing - audience favorites, too. Also, I'm making the accompaniment tracks available for free, see the link below. You can't beat that! I should also give a shout-out to  ArrangeMe.com  who makes these titles available for arranging. Check out their awesome site!  THAT LONESOME ROAD James Taylor's plaintive classic ballad is an ideal selection for developing or smaller Tenor Bass choirs. Emily Crocker 2-Part Classics!

Image
New 2-Part Recordings now available I recently put together my  website – it’s a work in progress! – and I’m happy to take this opportunity to reintroduce a few classic 2-Part titles. All of these works continue to be popular, however, I didn’t have full demo recordings, as they dated from the days when the publisher only recorded excerpts of the pieces, or the recordings were on analog master tapes that have been lost to the ages.  So, I worked with my friends at Aireborn Studios in Indiana to create these beautiful demos. All the songs are available either in print, e-print or both, through the publisher or retailer. If you are performing any of these pieces, the recordings have not been previously available so feel free to use them with your choirs and enjoy!  Adoramus Te  2-Part Choral and Piano This joyful festival anthem in Emily Crocker's highly-regarded concert festival series is uplifting, accessible and extremely well-crafted for choirs of all ages. In thi...

New Collection for Tenor Bass Choir

Music in the Air Collection for Tenor Bass Chorus If you are looking for a great value, this collection for Middle School Tenor Bass Voices fits the bill. Five songs are artfully arranged with attention given to range, tessitura and part-writing to make learning a breeze. The Tenor part is really more of a cambiata part and the Baritone part is very moderate in terms of range. Young singers like to be challenged and I hope these pieces will fit their voices and provide a creative challenge that will enliven the learning going on in your classrooms! Music for Young Mixed Choirs

New for Fall 2020 These new pieces will work well for young mixed choirs in middle and high school. The bass clef part(s) are very flexible, so if you have SAB or SATB, these should help your ensemble sound great. Ranges are moderate and there is little if any divisi.  I know there are lots of different paths for instruction in the fall of 2020, but whether you are physically together and socially distant or if you are working in a virtual environment, I hope you will consider these pieces for SAB and SATB singers.  All are available in print and digital editions also with demo and accompaniment audio downloads. J'entends le Moulin also has Part Predominant tracks available for audio download providing excellent rehearsal tools for in-person or distance learning. Young singers like to be challenged and I hope these pieces will fit their voices and provide a creative challenge that will enliven the learning going on in your classrooms!
