Music for Tenor Bass Choirs

If you take your choirs to UIL or another contest/festival event in the spring, you might be looking for music to build on your successes and take you through to the end of the term. I've been working on several classic pop titles that might suit your middle and high school Tenor Bass choirs. These titles are available digitally on Sheet Music Direct and Sheet Music Plus and I think you'll find they are easy to learn and easy to sing - audience favorites, too. Also, I'm making the accompaniment tracks available for free, see the link below. You can't beat that!

I should also give a shout-out to ArrangeMe.com who makes these titles available for arranging. Check out their awesome site!

THAT LONESOME ROAD

James Taylor's plaintive classic ballad is an ideal selection for developing or smaller Tenor Bass choirs. It can be sung a cappella or with the optional piano accompaniment.

ALL THIS JOY

Years ago, I arranged this John Denver song for children's choir to sing with John at the close of his live concerts. I decided that this would make a great feature for TB choirs, with its simple and stirring universal message. Hope you like it. Great for featuring solo voices.

THE WAYWARD WIND

The irresistible longing for the open road is portrayed in this classic song from the 1950s. Recorded by Anne Murray, Gogi Grant, Neil Young and others, the song retains a fresh contemporary sound even today. Ideal for smaller and developing Tenor Bass choirs.
